How to Export Your Journals

Download your journal entries as an Excel file for offline analysis or sharing with your team.

Exporting your journal entries gives you a well-organized file that’s useful for reporting, backups, or sharing with your accountant. The export reflects the exact data currently visible on your table.

Steps to Export your Journal Table:

  1. Navigate to Manual Journals: In the top navigation bar, click the More dropdown menu, and select Manual Journals.

  2. Click Export: In the top-right corner of the data view (next to the Create Manual Journals button), click Export.

  3. Download: Tyms will automatically process and download your live Journals data into a clean Excel (.xlsx) workbook.

  • Filtered Views: If date filters are applied, only those filtered results will be exported.

  • Full Export: If no filters are applied, the export will include all Journals currently listed in the table.
