Adam, your AI accountant, simplifies the process of creating inventory items by letting you describe them in your own words. Instead of manually filling out fields, all you need to do is provide a clear prompt, and Adam will take care of the rest.
Follow these steps to create an inventory items using a prompt:
Log in, then click More in the top navigation.
From the dropdown, hover over Inventory, then select Items from the flyout menu.
On the Inventory Items table, click Create Inventory Items at the top right.
From the dropdown, select Ask Adam.
Enter Your Item Description A modal will appear prompting you to describe the adjustment. Simply type the details in natural language. Example Prompt:
"Create a new inventory item named "Wireless Mouse". Set the SKU to WM001, category to Electronics, unit to Piece, purchase price to 8,000, selling price to 12,000, and mark it as taxable.(if applicable)" or "Create inventory items from the attached Excel/PDF using all available item details."
Send the Prompt After typing your description, click Submit.
Adam Processes the Prompt Adam will read your prompt, extract the relevant details, and automatically create the item based on the description you provided.
Check Your Inventory Items Table Once the prompt is processed, the item will be added to your Inventory Items table. Review it to confirm everything was recorded correctly.
