Editing a quote
A quote can be edited in two ways:
Inline edit: In the Quotes Table, click directly on a field (such as the Total Amount cell) to open it for quick editing. Each field on the table is editable, and clicking it opens the relevant details for updating, including the account.
Menu edit: Click the three-dot icon at the start of the quote row, then select Edit from the menu.
Viewing and downloading a quote
Click the three-dot icon, then select Open to view the quote details and a document preview.
Click Actions at the top right.
Select Download to save the quote to your device, or choose another action from the dropdown.
Deleting quotes
Single quote: Click the three-dot icon, then select Delete.
Multiple quotes: Select the checkbox for each quote you want to delete, then click Delete at the top of the table. The button label will display the number of quotes currently selected.
Duplicating and managing draft statuses
Duplicate: Click the three-dot icon, then select Duplicate to instantly create a copy of the selected quote.
Publish a draft: For quotes showing a Draft status, click the three-dot icon and select Publish to move the quote out of draft.
Revert to draft: For published or active quotes, click the three-dot icon and select Revert to draft to move the quote back to a draft status.
Publishing and Converting Quotes
When you Publish a quote, its status automatically changes to Pending. From this pending state, you can convert the quote into actual business records depending on the nature of the transaction.
To convert or revert a quote, click the three-dot icon at the left end of the quote row and select one of the following options:
Convert to Invoice: A modal will pop up prompting you to select an invoice date. Once confirmed, a draft invoice will be created automatically and will reflect in your Invoices Table.
Convert to Income: A modal will pop up prompting you to select the income date and the receiving payment account. This creates a live income record from the quote and marks the quote status as Converted.
Convert to Prepaid Income: A modal will pop up prompting you to select the income date, payment account, and the prepayment period (in months). This creates a prepaid income record from the quote and marks the quote status as Converted.
