How to Delete a Journal Entry

Remove one or multiple journal entries using the Row Action feature for cleaner records and accurate financial tracking

If you've made an incorrect journal entry or need to clean up outdated records, you can easily delete entries from your Manual Journals Table.

Delete a Single Journal Entry

  1. Navigate to Manual Journals: In the top navigation bar, click the More dropdown menu and select Manual Journals.

  2. Open Row Actions: Locate the journal entry you want to remove and click the three-dot action menu (⋮) on the far left of its row.

  3. Select Delete: From the dropdown menu, click the red Delete option.

Bulk Delete Multiple Journal Entries

  1. Navigate to Manual Journals: In the top navigation bar, click the More dropdown menu and select Manual Journals.

  2. Select Entries: Check the box next to each journal entry you wish to delete.

  3. Delete Selected: Once you select one or more entries, a red Delete (X) button will appear in the top-right corner of the table (where X indicates the total number of selected journals). Click this button to permanently delete the selected entries.

⚠️ Important Note Deleted journal entries are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Always double-check your selections before confirming a deletion.
